Do you have less interaction with staff at your home airport than at other airports? Just kind of thinking about this ...I seldom interact with the staff at SFO because generally I already have exactly what I want ... I'm not trying get on an earlier or later flight as I might be trying at a different airport and I'm not trying to change my routing and it's far easier for me to deal with irregular ops if I'm not stuck somewhere. I think I have far more interactions with staff outside my home airport and so am better able to judge them than those at my home airport.

Of course ...there is ticketing.
