Thanks, thepla, how many Amex miles did you transfer? Sadly I don't have that many Amex miles to transfer to.

I am tempted take an easy way out to just use all my 240,000 miles to book a NWA Award roundtrip on BF.

Just received the 6 System-wide Upgrades Certs, need to research on that more. I guess after flying so much last year, NWA didn't forget about me...
Note, the system wides can only be used on NW and/or KL metal (ok, certain flight nos. that equate to NW or KL metal to for purposes of precision), so the system wides are not the answer here unfortunately either. Your choices are if an NW WP member with no CO miles and you want to fly in BF without paying for a revenue BF fare1) miles for an award ticket (2) a B or Y fare on CO and upgrade with miles or (3) pray for an Op-Up (which is not a good bet IMHO).
