I had rented a house in (near) Dublin for a family reunion. At the last minute (a couple of weeks ago) I was informed that the place was no longer available. Here's your money back. Good luck.

I wound up booking 18 room-nights at the Clarion in the Financial District. Tripadvisor was kind to it.

I had also booked at the Fitzwilliam and the Portmarnock, but these were bookend nights and I did them with points, too.

So - if you have points, there seems to be plenty of hotel rooms available in just about any hotel program you can name.

BTW - we are also looking for a few nights outside of Dublin, and we were overwhelmed with availability.

Must be the silver lining to the current depression.
