I think DL would put in either the movie system on the 738 or PTV's. They're going to re-do the seat covers. Anyone know about changing seat configuration?
The oldest 757 is 24 years old, which is also the oldest aircraft in the fleet. They are the former ATA aircraft delivered to Delta in the mid 90s.

21 of the 113 MD-88s now have Wi-Fi, and the installs are being done in about 12 hours. It is a modification that seems to be going quickly, meaning more and more aircraft will have Wi-Fi as an option. It is something.

IFE could be added to the MD-88s, but at what cost? The aircraft is used on shorter flights. The exception is FL to the Northeast, I believe BOS-FLL is one of the longest MD-88 routes for DL at 3:30.

The MD-90s are newer aircraft. I would only guess it is offered as an option upon delivery and Delta took it.

Half the 738’s have PTV’s and the other half have flip down LCD screens from the overhead bins.

Delta has said they are standardizing the fleet for seating, but it takes time. Paint on a plane is the first step.
