Overall, I love TA. Far and away the best site for such things. With the volume of posters, I think the accurate image of the property is reflected.

I'd say my least favorite thing is when people post reviews for hotels at which they did not stay. It is not common, but not all that uncommon either. "I didn't stay here, but I saw this hotel and I think ..." Not particularly helpful.

I don't happen to like the option of the management to respond to the review. All they tend to do is just contradict whatever the negative comments are, usually with a "no, you're wrong, so there!" sort of tone. But then I guess that is a bit telling as well.
