WorldClubs tend to have enough options that you can substitute for an airport restaurant in most cases - either to get you the three hours to a restaurant outside the airport at your destination or at least to a meal on the plane if you have the upgrade.
Crown Rooms - not so much.
And without suitable food options, have to spend 45 minutes at the restaurant, and at that point $300+ will buy you a whole lot of beers. And beer will buy you a spot at the bar you can sit and do work.
I keep reading about this food advantage WCs have over CRCs. I have visited WCs in Memphis and Detroit (in both concourses). Please let this poor DL flyer know where all the great food is stashed in the WCs! The times that I spent in WCs (all during the day or evening), I saw the cheese (CRC has cheese), cookies (CRC has Biscoff), fruit (CRC has fruit selections) and crackers (CRC has them as well). If I am missing some food items, please let me know so I can sample it during my next visit to a WC. If I am not missing anything, then I cannot see much of a difference in the food selections--minus the difference in brands. However, I am open to being educated on this issue.
