Word on the street is they stopped inviting back in 2006/7 as the membership grew so large (c.18,000 presumably with the booming financial markets and the comparatively low [compared to other Cents] fee). This has all changed now. There have never been clear criteria for UK Cent as far as I can tell though it was estimated to be £125K+ in annual spend on the Plat charge card. There were stories of people spending £70k or less and being invited. Apparently they look for those who use their services a lot (Travel Service, Concierge etc.), travel a fair amount and "will benefit from what Cent provides".
