(Members not interested in the paranormal, should just move on to another thread, because you'll just waste your time reading my post) I don't know of any haunted *wood, but in New Brunswick, Canada, we have a very famous resort with many permanent guests, the Fairmont Algonquin Resort; from a helpful bellboy in the elevator, to children playing in the halls, to a heartbroken bride crying in the hallways. None of them are described as evil though. Stayed there but never saw anything, the place is old world, sprawling & quiet, so a bit spooky I guess. Stephen King previously said that while writing his book the Shining he stayed in several secluded & isolated hotels in North America and stayed at this property. Bangor, Maine, where King resides is actually not too far (3 hour drive).
