$7.50....ok! Even with that $0.50 differential, if one rides the subways/buses more than 3 times in a day, it's worth getting that "funpass" even at $7.50. If the OP uses the subways/buses more than 3 times each day of the trip, I'll still recommend a 7 day pass.
