CX availability actually showed up for ~24 hours on the Qantas site earlier in the week.
I'm planning a CPH-BKK award trip and have been checking the Qantas site multiple times a day for the past 3 weeks. On Tuesday I checked the usual routes I've been looking for, and a host of CX flights appeared. I called the EXP desk and switched to a different CX LHR-HKG flight I saw.
However, when I checked again on Wed./Thurs., all the CX flights were gone. Almost like they were running a trial, I hope it's a sign of things to come.
