Sadly DL isn't an ideal choice, either. While the DTW hub is excellent, DL flies almost exclusively regional jets from YYZ (and NW has been cutting back on mainline flights as well), and most of those have no F to upgrade to.

Given the choice, I'd rather sit in Y on an AC A319 than on a DL Barbie jet. And for DL's #1 hub, the it's six CRJ flights per day, no mainline ones. Two and a half ours on the CRJ is not my idea of fun. If you can route through DTW (or even CVG) instead, the situation is better, though.
