A few questions:
I have setup my account with 12-3456789 as EIN. It did not seem to accept saying it could not recognize it or so. But I was able to go on to the next step where I set up an employee without putting in a SSN. does this mean it is linked to some govt database? If not how could it say my EIN was not recognized?
I then tried to schedule a pmt to the employee and it added a tax to the amount of the payment. This tax appears under the taxes to be paid. Will intuit take this money from my bank and keep it till I schedule a date to pay the authorities? any way to get this money back?
