We stayed at Ventana two years ago, got upgraded to the "cottage" (one of their nicest rooms). I would still pick the PRI upper butterfly or treehouse over Ventana.

PRI is just more relaxing and more nestled in the wilderness. And the food and restaurant service at Ventana was DREADFUL--I had to wait 10 minutes after I got my breakfast to flag down a waiter for silverware.
