wouldn't lifetime PLT (2MM+) be LT-PLT?

it seems to me that someone who made PLT off a challenge is in a different mode than someone who's built up the RDM's 2M (that's 2.0e+6 for you techies)

either way the "LT" might not have flown 50k bis (EQP/EQM) or 60 segments in the current or previous qualifying year. that LT-PLTs are more accustomed to PLT (maybe even EXP) than PLT-LT's follows.

not sure I have a point here, other than some LT PLT's are hardly "lite", esp. if they did their seat time and have semi-retired from EXP to lifetime PLT

I for one welcome PLT-LT's. I did my challenge in Q4 '05, making PLT from nothing in 12 weeks. wish I had been following FT back then!
