"Too bad" is the term that best describes United's decision to ever offer Ted service with no F class in the first place.
Fortunately for all of us, Ted has been killed and all his planes will be reconfigured with first class seats throughout this year. Your flight is just a bit early... come back next year and you'll be able to buy a premium seat to SJD and use the RCC.
