Irrops makes it so beneficial. The other day I was in CVG on a flight that was delayed quite a bit, and only two seats available on an earlier flight. CRC agents were able to get me confirmed on that earlier flight, got my checked golf clubs onto that plane and get me an aisle toward the front.

I'm normally having to layover someplace, so the CRC allows me a chance to relax and give me something to do during those layovers. Also, when I'm traveling during a workday, it allows me to take care of emails that come my way.

Now, if I was a straight non-stop flyer, I'd probably reconsider it. But since I go through ATL and SLC on seemingly every trip, it's worth it to me.
