That is true regarding the state contract like many others during the Bush era...........I agree they may go to RJ type of arrangement rather than the DHC Q-400/800's if any, but Air Transport World says that the DHC turboprops are the future, not RJ's. The early 737's I was referring to were the predecessor of today's Airtran, Conquest Sun then became AirTran and they started service with the 737's leased from GPA LTD.Interestingly, and I know this belongs in the Florida section......... everyone cries we need TLH service and yet it never seems to make a go of it from central Florida.Only the CO Connection aka Gulfstream B1900D's kept it going. The late Air South tried PIE-TLH-ATL but didn't make it on that or any other route.Now DL is trying it again TPA-TLH.Airtran had the sense to drop that Air Wisconsin deal before it really hurt them.
