Do international car rentals give RR credits?

The RR website says:
"Rapid Rewards Members will receive 0.5 credits at participating U.S. Avis airport locations by requesting credit at the time of the rental"

However, the AVIS website does not restrict US locations, and allows retro-credit for international rentals, which I recently did.

Will I get the RR points through my AVIS missing miles request?
