With all the talk in the CO Forum about good BBQ, I thought I would arrange a little spring weekend, or at least gauge interest.

Thus the spring DO is born.

Tentative dates and activites.

May 9-10th, Austin Texas.

May 9th,

In the afternoon, I'll arrange a tour of one of the local breweries in Austin either the Live Oak brewery or Independence Brewery

That evening, dinner at the Saltlick. Later that night, get drinks at the Flying Saucer, or Ginger man pub.

May 10th

Lunch at a Cafe either BBQ or Magnolia Cafe.
2 pm Texas Longhorns v. Texas A+M, tickets are $7.00-12.00. The only where there is alcohol in the stadium is in the suite section. It does not appear that there will be enough people to justify the cost of renting a suite, but there is tailgating in the parking lot before the game. I would be willing to reserve a mini-keg and a few bottles of wine the night before so we can tailgate the game.
