Hi Centralpark

The recession has hit Ireland hard so there are quite a few hotel bargains to be had. For example the Harding Hotel has a sign saying rooms from €35 per night (think that's about US$43). It's only a 2 star but it's bang smack in the centre of town, next to Christchurch Cathedral and less than 5 minutes from all of the gay bars. Going more upmarket, Brooks Hotel, a well-regarded 4 star within sight of the Dragon Bar and 2 minutes from the main shopping street, is showing on wotif.com at €125-139, while the new 4* Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, between St Patricks Catehdral and the gay action is on www.laterooms.com for €120-160.

Whatever you decide I'd suggest you book somewhere central - ideally in Dublin 2 which includes the main entertainment area. Dublin's suburbs are endless, tedious and in general badly served by public transport!

PM me for more specific info - and have fun !!!
