Will Gloucester Road do? A couple of years ago I managed to rip a skirt - not on the seam but in the fabric itself . The nearest dry cleaner advertised tailoring and repair services, so I took my skirt there and hoped for the best.

Their tailor did a bang up job, so much so that I could barely find the mend. The place is called Perkins, on Gloucester Road on the near side of Harrington Gardens, next to the Caffe Forum.
