I read this story yesterday and the interesting info for me was that the chef attended to top Italian pizza school and worked privately for the leader of the college, before setting up shop in Perth.

DiningBuzzers - have you found similar places around the world, where the proprietor/chef trained in Italy and set up somewhere outside of Italy?

I'd be particularly interested in locations around the world that combine an Italian (or Italy-trained) chef with the world's best dairy products.

[yes, that does mean NZ and Ireland but I'd appreciate other suggestions... these two places are already on my list... plus I'd need to know that the one in the OP is BYO ]

Pino's at Crows Nest is one pizzeria I guess the OP has tried.
