Yes indeed, I am committed to these flights, as I'm speaking at a conference in Chonburi--I rarely have 'optional' flights. Re where I might stand on the upgrade list, I could call the 1K desk and ask how the upgrade scenario looks, they often give a pretty good idea, but I guess I like to hear from FT-ers.
