argeeleh: Seat 2A on the A330 is a good seat, especially if you are traveling solo and want to get up and move around the cabin (the extra space of the bulkhead makes it easier to get around your seat mate without disturbing them if he/she is reclined). They will make you stow your carry on items for take off and landing.

You are also near the front of the cabin so you will almost certainly get your preferred meal choice. I personally don't like any seat in Row 1 of the A330s or 340s as there are fewer windows (due to the coat storage and video equipment that take the place of seats 1A and 1B), it just seems dimmer and more cramped than the rest of the cabin.
