On the OP's question, for a 763, I much prefer F/K, because at least you can speak without having to twist around.

For the 77L, there probably isn't much difference between the two cabins. It's more busy during boarding because everyone goes through on the way to the Y cabin, but otherwise I don't know if there's a disadvantage.

My preference for seating would be D/G because you can talk across the privacy screen.
