My question for Hertz: For certain reasons I would like to pick up a Cadillac DTS (for two weeks of holiday travel).
Is my suspicion right that my best chances to get the car of my choice would be at LAX airport? I would travel from Anaheim to LAX for the car pickup if that is right. If there is any big station between these locations that would offer equal or better chances than LAX, that would be great.
Would you say that there are certain times of day when the car pool is biggest at LAX?
Also: Would you say that my chances are similar when comparing Avis and Hertz? My last US trip was three years ago so I am not up to date any more. I have always succeeded in getting my car choice at Avis in the past..
Plan to drop off the car in Phoenix.
