No, you can complete a multiple party pnr check in in one transaction. After you enter the name, flight#, and departure city, the system retrieves the record. There is a checkbox next to each name, and you check all the names that you want to process. When you continue, boarding passes will be displayed for each pax, and will print out on a separate page for each pax. I am not sure of the maximum number of people in a pnr the web check in application can handle, but I have used it on a pnr that had three people and it worked fine.
