Of course! In a larger sense, I guess that I'm wondering what is the best plan for currency exchange for the week? Should we exchange in CDG, in ZRH, or withdraw from an ATM? Are Euros generally accepted as payment?
If Zurich is strictly a transit point (i.e. you aren't planning to tour the city), stay at one of the airport hotels with shuttle service. Park Inn is usually very reasonably priced. Moevenpick is nicer but prices vary.
We're currently planning to spend a half day and evening to see a little bit of Zurich. We have a reservation at the Four Points Sihlcity about 4.5 km from the train station. We could change to a different hotel if there's reason to do so, but I have SPG Plat status and would like the elite stay credit and points if all else is equal. Looks as if my rate at the 4P is barely more than the Moevenpick.
