Back from vacation and did get miles. Just in case there's anyone out there who still doesn't believe my story, check out this link to an ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1310 It contains negative feedback left on April 20 from two purchasers of American tickets (not my auction.) One purchaser noted that American called him and informed him that the ticket was no good. Interestingly, the most recent purhaser had sent me a note when my auction was up saying my price was too high and that he had purchased 7 35,000 mile certificates for $430 each in the past. In retrospect, I wish my price had been too high.
