Although I'm sure we've all heard ill-informed individuals say or tell us that walking after dark in any city is a bad idea. Of course, that is a load of BS at best.

We all know that all cities aren't created equal and some legitimately require some careful thought when it comes to walking around at night (particularly solo) while others are a pure joy.

I know one of my favorites is Florence, Italy. There always seems to be plenty of life around the center, so you can just stroll around without a care in the world. But, what other cities come alive and night and beg to be explored that you've experienced?
