hfly - Many thanks for making us aware of this change.

I now know I can no longer commence my frequent trips (with 6-10 pieces of checked luggage) on DL. I knew the old fees but would have had a nasty surprise at the airport if I hadn't seen this here.

I don't know if this is a good decision for DL or not. It means I will be purchasing tickets on other airlines to my most frequest destination and paying their much smaller bag fees. The question is did DL make money from me when I bought a $2400 DL ticket to Africa from them then paid them about ~$1000 in bag fees.
