Ah, yes, indeed. I did. And I don't drink on am, or early pm flights. But for me, it wasn't early.

For other pax on that early LHR flight, maybe it was a morning biz trip from AMS but for me it was after TATL or sometimes the end of a very long MR that began in LAX two days prior and involved a double redeye either via HNL or ANC, or even both. Last thing to do, guzzle KL's Heinekens in the stack before heading to family residences near LON and sleeping for 18 hours.

You never know where your fellow pax originated.
