At the very least they should have offered you casino rate based on play history at other MGM properties. I would have called back and tried to speak to someone else. An alternative is to tell your host you'd like to stay at the Bellagio on your next trip and have him make the call; most hosts should be more than happy to do this, and can sometimes get some extras if he knows a host there.

They're working very hard at it, considering I've played there only once (I opened a credit line as a friend was staying and gambling there for a weekend a few years back) and have been inundated with marketing promos and offers recently.
By the way, casino hosts are actually part of marketing.

Limited RFB at Bellagio a few years back used to be $300 BJ 4hr avg, so that's what I played. Given how much worse the economy is now, I'm sure it's attainable for a lot less. A friend of mine got penthouse and full FB and I dont' think he does much more than 500. I don't have current personal information because I don't RFB anymore since I live here, and also am an idiot who gambles excessively while not asking for enough comps (you know you don't ask for enough when your host doesn't even check your play history before approving your gourmet comps!). You should be able to call up marketing / a host and get this information - it's not secret or anything.
