Any ideas how kid-friendly the hotel/area is, or any suggestions on what to do? My wife mentioned caves? I figure that Jerusalem will be pretty busy around 5/6 April, and Tiberias might be a breath of fresh air.
Also, any ideas on level of Kashrut? Suitable for Glatt/Mehadrin, but with no special "brand-name" certification required?
I have booked 4 rooms for 4 nights the week before Passover (start April). Was very pleased to get it, especially at Cat 2 weekend point rates. This weekend is normally very busy at hotels in Israel (Shabbat HaGadol). Very good use of points I think. Even if you need to buy the points it works out at half the BAR.
