It does, but outbound protection is disabled by default (even if it says otherwise, they have rules that permit all outbound connections) and setting up the rules for outbound connections is supposed to be very difficult. You can read up on it. I never bothered to try setting it up for outbound protection. Anyway, that's why I said "managing outbound connections".
