I suspect the "Amail" Airpoints newsletter is targeted towards non-status members, which is why why E's and GE's probably aren't sent them. A lot of the offers they tout (discounts on Koru membership etc) wouldn't be of much interest, and I guess they don't yet bother doing customized versions for each status level.
