Remember that other airlines tend to give a great deal more in voucher compensation than WN. For example, getting out on the next flight on WN is $100 plus the ticket value. I suspect that's about the same (if not less) than the competition, whose lowest VDB voucher is basically $200. Similarly, an 8 hr delay on WN will net you $200 plus your ticket value, which is a lot less than the $600 you could get on DL or UA.
