That is what I thought but I was offered IND-ORD-IST-BKK and IND-IAD-VIE-BKK without prompting via Europe and I have the second option held currently but difficulty getting return on my dates. So, I have not ticketed yet and the 1K agent did not deduct the miles as they normally do so not sure what it will end up being if I book it.
