Just stayed at Amanpuri, then Peninsula BKK, then Anantara-ChiangRai. At all 3 I requested a coffeemaker in the room.

If a room doesn't come with a coffeemaker, tell them to have one waiting (same goes for a TV, in our case anyway.)
