I am not sure how the system changes they have put in affect the use of the FQTS field.

For example, does anyone know if the new check-in kiosks can handle both FQTS & FQTV. In my experience the previous ones would dump the FQTS information out if you checked in using them if it differed from FQTV.

DCF just because UA does not play ball does not mean that all other Star elite's should be penalised. The solution here if one wanted to put pressure on UA was that UA elite's should be excluded... but would it have the desired effect of pressuring UA into allowing E+ for other * elites - well no, due to the differing sizes of the airlines.
