I did the same thing last year with an award ticket from BOG to KUL and back, I forgot to add my middle name, so Passport and Boarding card were different.the only person who noticed was a check in guy at KUL and he did ask if I had other Id's with me, I showed him my drivers license with my middle name included and my business card with it excluded.He told me no problem but be prepared for another check at CDG, but that didn't happen.....phew!
The only problem I did have however was trying to change my seat online, because I didnt have my middle name on the issued ticket, it refused my FB number but a call to a nice lady at FB changed that.
