It looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of travelling between various Qantaslink cities (PQQ / ROK / LST) over the next few months. Most if not all of the flights are on Dash-8 service. The problem is that I'm required to travel with two 20 kg pieces of luggage for most of the trip and the extra charge for the second bag for Qantaslink is quite exorbitant.

Am I correct that despite having Qantas club membership, I am still allowed only one free checked bag on Qantaslink Dash-8 services? If anybody has knowledge regarding this, thanks in advance for your help.

As a backup plan, I probably could send the second bag to the next Qantaslink destination via ground - does anybody know of a reliable (and inexpensive) carrier that ships items such as luggage domestically?
