The Minimum Connection Time (MCT) for ICN is supposed to be 60 minutes (or 55 not 100% sure) so it was a legal connection and no reason not to ticket it like that.

The flight to HKT on the 19th does seem to operate but is very full - so my guess is they bumped you.

If the reservation was ticketed I would insist that Amex find you a resolution.
