Namboku line works. You could get there a little quicker with other routes - but Namboku lets you meet up at Azabu Juban. Passmo will cover you for all the railways involved.
From Oji you can trake the Omiya tain that stops at Saitama Shintoshin. From there, the Arena is 200m.
Take a good book -- for the Clapton performance. The train ride should be interesting enough.
