I think that even with the departure of CO, ST is still has stronger international coverage. DL duplicates many of the routes that CO flies. In fact, after hiring the two CO employees that pioneered the international expansion, DL now has an impressive global footprint. The alliance also boasts powerhouses like AF and KLM. ST is a pretty impressive alliance. Aside from south of the border, I don't think that CO will be missed.
