Does that end the debate about whether BA should do it or not? I cannot remember all of the European countries that ban the activity, but I am fairly sure that the UK is one, Germany is certainly one and so it goes on....
Killjoys, the lot of them. But on the BA flights I'm usually on, the audio would mostly consist of screechy SSB traffic on the North Atlantic routes (try these:

I rather like the Channel 9 feature when I have to fly UA to the East Coast and back. Listening to the ground controllers at ORD directing traffic is like sitting in the cheap seats at a tobacco auction.
