Thanks all for your input. It really helped with my friend's perliminary research and pointed him to some good source to follow up on. Also it is really interesting to hear about the history of TWA and I personally didn't know they were in the shi*s and was bankrupted in 2001.

I assume the shareholders of TWA got pretty much 0 as a result of this merger, or should I say take and snatch exercise?
