If I remember correctly, the SFO airport authority bans the parking of propeller-driven aircraft at all there terminals with the exception of a single small concourse existing for that purpose (which happens to be used for OO E-120s D/B/A United Express). The concourse in question is clear in the opposite side of the "term-o-plex" from where AS is located.

Some questions AAG needs to answer: does AAG convince UA to give up some gates and use Q400s to PDX et al whilst splitting AAG presence at SFO, or does AS convert all PDX-SFO ops to mainline. AS better be careful about not cutting capacity and frequency too severely because there is a certain start up based in SFO which has indicated that PDX is on their "first five years of operation" list of expansion cities.
