Normal schnormal. We never get snow in the South East, do we? - yet January/February gave us the worst winter weather in 40 years.

Just be prepared for changeable weather. And clue up on those Celsius degrees - apart from the Daily Telegraph, we gave up Fahrenheit decades ago. (Or if you want to use Fahrenheit, buy the Daily Telegraph. )
