Actually, that's what I should have said also. Still, I've seen no official reports indicating what airspeed was being maintained or should have been maintained at any point prior to the pitch up (other than the mention that they had set Vref + 20 for flaps 15 at 134 kts).

Just curious about the basis for them either being too slow or thinking they were too slow prior to the upset.
